My work is spiritually based (but not religious). I incorporate principals from many teachers and paths and apply spiritual tools and perspectives to difficult personal issues.  Because this work is rooted in perennial wisdom, it facilitates change that is a very long lasting and dynamic.  My goal is to empower my clients to make changes that create wholeness in their lives. I do not endeavor to create a co-dependent therapist-client relationship. You learn the tools for change. You do the work. I supply the tools, help with the launch, the fine tuning and provide support when needed.

[Noticias] Foreigners ordered out of Comarca

Date: February 24, 2011

To: U.S. Embassy Warden System

Subject: Foreigners Promoting Mining Ordered Out of Comarca Ngabe
Bugle

Dear Wardens: Please disseminate this message to U.S. citizens in your
area. Thank you.

The U.S. Embassy in Panama City alerts U.S. citizens that the Panamanian
government has ordered all foreigners promoting mining activities to leave
the Comarca Ngabe Bugle no later than March 9, 2011. The government
indicated in a statement
(http://www.mingob.gob.pa/mingob/inside.php?artID=1009)
that the measure was designed to prevent non-members of the indigenous
groups residing in the region from causing confusion or provoking disorder.

The Embassy reminds U.S. citizens that there are ongoing protests in Panama
against the recent adoption of legislation governing mining. These protests
have the potential to severely restrict traffic and emergency services.
Other protests on this or other issues may occur at any time and be repeated
with little or no warning. The Embassy continues to caution its employees
and all U.S. citizens to exercise heightened security awareness and avoid
crowds and any areas where there are demonstrations or where confrontations
could occur. During previous periods of unrest, there were isolated
incidents where disgruntled construction workers threw bricks and other
objects from structures under construction. Special caution is urged when
transiting through urban areas or when driving near any tall buildings.

For the latest security information, Americans traveling abroad should
regularly monitor the Department?s Internet web site at
http://travel.state.gov where the current Travel Warnings and Public
Announcements, including the Worldwide Caution Public Announcement, can be
found.
Up-to-date information on safety and security can also be obtained by
calling 1-888-407-4747 toll free in the U.S., or for callers outside the
U.S. and Canada, a regular toll-line at 1-202-501-4444. These numbers are
available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday
(except U.S. federal holidays).

For updated information on the security situation in Panama, please contact
the American Citizens Services Unit of the U.S. Embassy at 207-7030. The
Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy is located in Clayton, Building 783, in
the Clayton section of Panama. The Consular Section fax is 207-7303. The
Embassy web site is http://panama.usembassy.gov/ and e-mails should be
addressed to Panama-ACS@state.gov. After hours and emergency phone number:
207-7000 or 207-7200.

[Noticias] 2nd annual wine tasting event at Casa del Risco was a huge success!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thursday's 2nd annual wine tasting event at La Casa del Risco was a great success. The event was completely booked out, we had 135 guests, and all but six of 140 bottles of wine were gone at the close of the evening! Everybody had a wonderful time despite a short shower early on, and Rigoberto's Ritmo y Son Jazzband brought folks up to their feet to dance the evening away....

We'd like to thank all of you who came to beautiful Casa del Risco for patronizing this event. You made it possible for us to donate the proceeds of $600 to the Boquete Hospice&Health Foundation - a fantastic result!

Our thanks also go out to the management of Casa del Risco and their wonderful staff, as well as to the Felipe Motta wine store in David for supporting this great event.

Some pictures of the wine tasting have been posted on the web. Check them out here: http://www.bothphoto.com/BoqueteJazzFestival2011/Wine-TastingCasa-Del-RiscoLos/15971680_4xru5#1198087749_hFzAx  You'll also find photos of the great Boquete Jazz Festival on this site.

We're planning to have the 3rd annual wine tasting shortly before next year's Jazz&Blues Festival in early March 2012, so mark it in your calendars! You won't want to miss it next year!

Fresh Organic Produce
Items for Sale, Tuesday, March 1st

We will have fresh organic produce for sale this week at the Tuesday Market, March 1st, held at the new Boquete Events Center from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.

                                                 http://fincasantamarta.biz/

Our new website (link above) has been launched and is ready for you to view, set up your accounts and fill your shopping carts for delivery to Tuesday's market.  From now on, please place all orders using our web site.  Your feedback is important to us, so please let us know what you think and if you have any problems.  Cut off time for all orders is Monday at 5pm.  Some items are only available in very limited quantities and earlier orders take precedence.  Thanks.

When placing an order, you will receive an immediate confirmation with the total due when you submit the order by pressing the "Place Order" button at the end of the checkout process.

Two small things to remember for now:
1)  A street address is required on orders for checkout.  You can add your address, if you have one, or add the city in this area as well as the in the city area.

2)  Postal code is required on the orders.  Since Panama has no postal codes, just add in any 5 numbers - such as 99999 - in that area.

Advantages of the website:
* More product information is available to you with photos.
* Easier ordering with current pricing.
* You will receive an itemized order confirmation when you place the order.
* You will receive an itemized invoice when you pick up your order.
* Information on new product availability and expanded product lines.
* Simplified order fulfillment.

You can still place an order by phone to Ron at 6459-5218.

We are in need of egg cartons.  If you have extra clean cartons, please bring them to the market.  Thanks.

Remember that everything we sell is guaranteed to please you.  If you are not pleased with something, just let us know so that we can make it right.
